Apparently this type of thing has been going on there since 2002. According to the TV news report, which did not give any descriptions of the perpetrators, these attacks happen in the inner city neighborhoods that cops avoid driving through for fear of being attacked. Much like in third world Iraq, the few civilized residents are too afraid to come forward to tell the cops who the perps are.

MILWAUKEE Police in Milwaukee say they're looking for more suspects in the mob beating of a motorist.

Three teenagers -- as young as 14 -- are accused of yanking a 50-year-old driver from his car, hurling an ice ball and battering him with a bottle. Up to 15 young people were involved in the most recent in a string of attacks that began in 2002.

A prosecutor says the youngest of the attackers stomped and did a front flip onto the motorist. Another boy landed on him after leaping from the top of a car...

I read the same story. Kind of shocking really. Reminds me of the public lynchings that used to go on down south. Milwaukee has a long legecy of mob violence, and what is most shocking, much of it goes unpunished.

I'm beginning to think that gang violence, whether this type of incident or shootouts like what happened in Toronto the other day that killed this innocent girl out shopping with her family:

needs to be treated as a bigger threat to the everyday, average person than Osama Bin Laden.

I support bombing the neighborhoods in which these insurgents reside.

All the more reason why good people should have access to guns.
