Ive just reinstalled windows on my laptop, and now whenever I type something in firefox, it suddenly shifts back a couple of words in the sentence I was typireally annoyingng. <fine example of what I mean, it does this all by itself. anyone know what causes this?

Sounds like you might not be waiting for the screen to refresh to start typing....

I've done it before...

I do it all the time. There's usually a way of turning off the touchpad - but I haven't really found it on my laptop.

Yeah, I'd say dodgy touchpad shenanigans.
