View Full Version : Nostalgic Games
TheAmber 12-23-2005, 04:37 PM Recently I downloaded Lemmings for my phone, and got SOOOOOO excited. Lemmings was the first computer game I ever played when I was younger, and directly after that was Commander Keen.
Does anyone remember/love these games? What are your nostalgic childhood games?

Pinball machines.
kellet 12-24-2005, 03:36 AM Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
Frogger
Galaga
Ms. Pac Man
Tetris
Contra
Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr.
These are still the games I love to play. I have never been able to adapt to anything newer than a super NES, that 3D stuff confuses and frustrates me and is no fun.
DJ NoDoz 12-24-2005, 04:33 AM I have these on my mobile,
space invaders
breakout
q*bert
qix
pacman
othello (reversi)
galaga (go kellet!)
asteroids
ResidentRice 12-24-2005, 05:42 AM Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt

Kind of agree with that sentiment. My parents used to have the Galaga arcade game at the liquor store, hands down my favorite arcade game ever, great memories. We have the PacMan still there, but supposedly we're selling it. Kind of sad, I'm thinking of talking my dad into keeping it, its seriously a piece of history now.
Zelda
Paper Boy
TMNT
Jaws
Top Gun
Excite Bike
Definitely these. I could never land in Top Gun, but it was fun flying a plane with 20 missiles.
My additions....
Ultima II-V (please, PLEASE PM me if you know a good emulator for this series)
Mike Tyson's Knock-Out
Mario-Kart
1941 (I think that's the name)
Marvel vs. Capcom
Area 51

Sure you can play it, you just need an emulator (and a control pad if you like), let me see...
edit: here's one (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/snes/zsnes.html), I think you'll have to find the game on your own though
