First journal post (here) in my (new?) apartment!!! WOO!
I'm now in Torrance, finally. I still have lots of stuff to unpack and put away, and stupid-head me put my bookshelves together with the backside forward, so I have to take everything off of the shelves to fix it and put the mounting brackets on right. ****ing joy. :mad:
And today I go buy a dresser and computer desk from IKEA. Whee hooray fun.

Hah!
I come from a long line of stoics. Family is from the Ukraine, Russia, and Poland (and I think Germany too). It's sorta genetic at this point.
But hey, at least I have my new computer desk now. :) Next step: Dresser. :)

I break out in a cold sweat just thinking of trying to get into the IKEA parking lot, let alone wading through the miles of merchandise. I really am not an instore shopper anymore; I do most of my shopping on the internets.

what desk did you get? I'm going to buy a new one once I move and I'm leaning towards some I saw on Ikea. Never been to an Ikea :shrug:
