"Against All Odds" Phil Collins

"My Heart Will Go" Celine Dion: the song is really about coping with the death of your one true love.. not a good theme for a wedding...

"Every Breath You Take" the Police : this song was written about an ex and would be kind of creepy to hear at a wedding.... you're her husband not her stalker

"You Are So Beautiful" Joe Cocker: this song is just utterly painful to listen too... :bang:

"You Light Up My Life" Debbie Boone: no surprise this song was the last we heard from her

"One in a Million (Chance of a Lifetime)" Larry Graham : another guy who can't sing

"Cherish" Kool and the Gang: count the number of times you hear the word "cherish" and you'll know why.... :eek3:

Clarance Carter's Strokin' is the one song which comes to mind. I was at a wedding reception when the song was played. What always happens whenever its played is some drunkin fool will get up there and lipsync to the song and make a complete idiot of himself.

Well, I dont know title specific songs but, I dont think that music with explicit lyrics should be played...especially with an audience that includes grandparents and parents and maybe even your boss....songs that make the younger crowd/drunk crowd start dry humping and simulating sexual behaviors [hence my company holiday party experience a week ago  ]

I am not making this up- a friend chose Dave Matthews Band Crash as her wedding song.

Needless to say the ballroom dance lessons I'd got them as a wedding gift made for quite an interesting accompaniment- they waltzed to the song.
