Hey all. I have a huge collection of files I need to host somewhere for free if possible, or as cheaply as possible if free is not an option. Some of the files are huge, and I want to clear up hard disk space. I am open to suggestions as to where i can do this , and whether explicit files are allowed, or if they have to be pg rated. Any help will be most appreciated.

why not just get a dvd burner? They're like $40 these days..

I have a dvd burner, but am not interested in adding this stuff to dvd storage, I will lose it. If I have it stored online, I can access anywhere.

And use dyndns.org to get a static domain name. I use my PC at home over cable to host booradley.homeip.net

Bandwidth sucks, though :(

There are free hosts out there that do this kinda of thing for file storage as I recall... I seem to remember running across several of them while surfing with StumbleUpon - but they'd be of absolutely no use to me so I never tracked what any of them were.. sorry...

Thanks all. Any others, feel free to continue to add ideas. The first one to submit an idea that proves both easy and possible for me to do gets the first link to all the dirty adult films I am trying to store..:D

could always just sign up to 10 gmail accounts... that's 26gb right there..

Or yahoo and make it private where nobody can join. Each site will get you 20 MB.

oh well, buy yourself a 160gb hdd and no problem. and you have a lot of spare space. works fine for me :)

Thanks all. Tam, thats a cool idea. I have a gmail account, and haven't sent out any referals yet, so I can send them all to myself. Gonna start uploading soon it looks like.
