View Full Version : Filming Anomolies Using Infrared Technology

Right now I am going to see if I can get any entities on video tape using the infrared beam on the Sony Camcorder.

Edit: Did about 10 minutes with no anomolies.

Looking for Mexicans crossing the border again?

Real anomoly photographers don't just sit there and wait for something to happen, they make something happen!

Myrddin, the invaders have already crossed by the time they reach my part of the country.

Scooty, please explain yourself. I will post a film clip of an anomoly my brother captured on film sometime ago soon.

Scooty, please explain yourself.
Well, you know, you pay a guy to run by the camera wearing a sheet, or gorilla costume, or you paint a G.I. Joe with fluorescent paint and dangle him around out of focus in fron of the lens.

Mysterious flying orb (http://www.deecken.com/jim/orb.wmv)

It was filmed in total darkness in an alleged haunted house.

I re-rendered it after using an effect to enhance the light differences, plus I slowed it down half speed. Now it is easier to see the orb zig-zag from behind the bed and then go into the closet. :eek3:   :eek!: :ca:

I'll have to check it out on my roomie's computer - don't know when that'll be since I'm so pissed off at him right now I could just scream (only because I'm too tired to just reach out and kill - lol) !!!

Snouter

What did he do to annoy you?

The video clip proves there are invisible, unexplained entities flying around out there. So there actually can be stuff underneath the bed and in the closet at night. :eek!: :ca:

Snouter, until you experience this kind of stuff first hand you won't believe. I did, and I think it had a positive impression on me. As for orbs, they're usually just dust, or moisture having nothing whatsoever to do with the supernatural, just wishful thinking.

Snouter

Well, I know false orbs can appear on digital photos from dust particles. But I tried to replicate the image of an orb using infrared with water droplets and dust to no avail. The only thing I haven't tried was a soap bubble.

Notice how the orb is not aimlessly moving around like an inanimate object would. It is very specific as to where it goes. When my brother filmed that, he saw it live through the viewfinder and was trying to follow it. The orb seemed to realize this and then hid in the closet.

Nah, looks like dust to me.

The orb looks a little larger than a golfball though. I talked to my brother who filmed it and he is claiming that it did not look like it went into the closet when he was filming it.

What did he do to annoy you? ...

Long, ugly story.

If it were simple annoyance, I could live with that - he tends to be annoying without realizing it sometimes. No, my dear, I am flat-out angry with him, and I'm sure he knows it too! Boils down to a major lack of common sense, if not outright stupidity, on his part.

This morning, however, I found a bit of a silver lining in the situation. And no, I don't think I'll tell him of this new-found advantage!

Maybe when I finally simmer down, I'll explain the whole thing to him, as a sort of "training exercise", for lack of a better term right now. My only priority at this moment is putting a lid on this slowly-developing migraine I've had since this morning!

Thanks for asking, though!!

Snouter, the orb seems to move in the same manner, each time the camera is moved in the same manner. I believe that there are things out there not unlike this, however this one doesnt seem terribly believable. Sorry. But goodluck on your hunts. :nice:

It seems that the orb might sense the square infrared beam. Watch it closely and notice that it zig-zags at a different speed than the camera's movements.

How do you explain the apparent orb in the video?

I get the feeling that y'all don't understand the significance of this video footage. :(

This forum should be closed down because here we have a thing unseen with the naked eye but captured on film yet nobody seems to be interested.

Is there any other video on the net that has a mysterious flying sphere like this direct from the person who filmed it?

my first impression of the flying orb was I was thinking it looked like what the reflection of a watch when hit with sunlight and then moving your wrist around.... I liked the tunes though... maybe you could make a longer clip with the entirety of the song playing in the background....:) :)

if I had an infrared camera I would go outside at night and try filming the sky (that is if you live in an area without much nighttime lights around) away from a city etc... to where you can get a really good video of it... (I've heard of people being able to see some really crazy things up in the sky at night with nightvision / infrared etc...)

The song on the first one was Tales of Brave Ulysses by Cream. On this one I used Tomorrow Never Knows by the Beatles and Government Mule doing Jimi Hendrix's Third Stone From the Sun in the far background.

Extended Video Of Mysterious Flying Orb (http://deecken.com/floater/floaters.wmv)

Check it out now, if you dare. http://smiliesftw.com/!/turborant2.gif

It will probably be submitted to one of the major UFO type sites.

Thanks. taru, there are some limitations with the Sony infrared because the beam that the camera sends out only goes about 20 feet or so. Sony makes an accessory infrared light ($99) that works for about 100 feet. Nightvision is a different technology. It would indeed be interesting to check out sites like the alleged haunted house where this video was taken using nightvision.

:hmm: I'm still skeptical, I don't think its even spherical, it just looks like dust. Great music though. :nice:

I made some efforts to replicate situations that might possibly cause it such as dust, soap bubbles, etc., but so far, those experiments have not come close to anything like the floating orb thing. Keep in mind the video is at half speed to allow it to be looked at easier. The floating orb thing is faster. Without the speed slowed down, the first incident, going up from that guy's shoulder, is very difficult to see.

Not sure if the Premier Elements software has a zoom, but I will try to zoom in on the object if possible.

well..it does seem to move with some sort of relation to the square object..which makes me tend to believe it is a camera anormally. most "orbs" i've heard about are basketball size.

i don't think i would call 911 unless something crawled out of the closet bigger than i could step on:p

A couple of of guys I know in Virginia who excavate colonial cabins. Neither smoke. I'll take this over a stupid orb any day.
