Ive just seen on the news here that the state g'ovt has put through that all American Pit Bulls are to be sterilised within the next months.

I don't think that's a bad thing, considering the overpopulation of dogs in general. It might be considered unfair to target the specific breed, but the more dogs are sterilized the better, until the population gets under control and they can be bred properly.
