once you've created your station you can add more songs and bands that you like by clicking on the station name and selecting "add more music." This thing is very good at selecting music I like once I put in a few bands.

Interesting. I tested it with some easy bands and it delivers what would be expected. The sound quality is high; seems like at least 128 KBPS. No back button. :(

I have to say I'm a huge musical elitist in more situations than I should be, and I love pandora. It's not free forever, you know. But I'm a subscriber and it's completey worth it. Every once in a while you get a bad egg in there, but for the most part the songs they pick are great.

The two radio stations that sold me on it were my "Rilo Kiley" station and my "Sublime" station. Although Sublime took a lot of work to root out some of the more standard traditional Jamaican ska (it didn't fit the mood), it's been tweaked and is now one of my favorite stations.

I think it is:

Q: How much does it cost?

Pandora is available in two forms. Both versions have exactly the same features.

The first form is an advertising-supported version which is entirely free. Over time we'll be incorporating ads into this version of Pandora.

For those who want to steer clear of advertising, subscriptions are available in two different flavors:

ANNUAL: 12 months of unlimited use for $36
QUARTERLY: 3 months of unlimited use for $12
