What do you think of graffiti???
Just daub or is it art?

On rare occasions there is some underlying artistic talent, but it is simply vandalism for the most part; gangs marking their territories like dogs, and low IQ morons doing something to temporarily immortalize themselves.

What do you think is better? A grey dirty bridge or a colorfull one even if the graff is bad?
And what would you do to stop graffiti?

i agree here

there can be a good bit of artistic merit in graffitti but alot of it is just for badness

i think a bit of artistic grafitti is needed on those bridges, malekith, maybe by using people from the locality and the art school to do it, not just thugs who want to feel like a big man

I don't like seeing just some idiot's name scrawled on a wall, but I LOVE graffiti on/under bridges, trains, etc, as well as the big murals that you see downtown. :D

I agree with you guys.
I love graffiti some of my friends are really in it and respekt them because they just practice all the time and they do not want to do anything illegal until they are good.
I did the stupid mistake to go out with some cans (pretty drunk by the way) and just do some real bad stuff just for the kick.
I think if there would be more legal places the real artists would be supportet but those f***ing idiots that just do bad tags should be punished very strong.
Another thing private property should never be damaged. That is pretty much the worst.

I like the good looking and/or funny stuff, where you can see that people have tried to make something interesting, not just the human equivalent of pissing on a firehydrant :P

When many colors are used and a painting as a result, it is art.

When it's a tag drawn in lines in one color its daub.

The middle is a grey area ;-)
