My Car
It has been having problems, so I drove my dads for a while and then I finally bit the bullet and took it into the shop...so now I have a KIA loaner car...I miss it even more. To top it off, I have about 1000 bucks in repairs...
Cuddling
I used to get this quite often, now it is a rare thing. I dunno, I've just missed that close connection with someone of the opposite sex, that is comfortable, safe and trusting. I have a few friends like that, but none that are close by, or not horribly busy...
Feeling Loved...that way...
I had gotten used to not feeling it, then I started feeling it again, and now I am just starting to get used to not feeling it again...its hard...and I miss it...
Care Free Days
I've had a decent amount of carefree days recently, its been great, but I know it can't last. Life isn't carefree. There are responsabilities. There are bills. There is family to take care of, friends to nurture, and yourself to take care of.
Not Being Jaded
I am not ALWAYS Jaded, but on the whole, I totally am. When was the last time I felt 'not jaded' about some predominant facet of life? I've always been jaded or cynical about school. I go through jaded and cynical moments about friends, relationships, and work. When was the last time, I was just...opptimistic?
School?
Do I miss it? I miss learning. I miss free time. I miss sleeping in till noon, skipping class, getting lunch with friends, and then drinking. I do miss school in some senses though. I mean, there is just this intellectual property that follows it (what a suprise) that is absent, even in a highly educated workplace. Its funny how I end up having deeper, more meaningful conversations with coworkers at a bar than at work...
