India must be an amazing place. My mother-in-law had been there on a pilgrimage to study yoga. She was in an ashram in Madras. She said it was a life changing experience and told me everyone should visit India once in their lifetime. I always wanted to see the Hindu temples. She said that in some temples monkeys live and are hand fed by priests, in others rats are fed. She also has a picture of herself on a holy elephant.
You really must post some pics when you get them.:)

i return home on the 1st december.

Yes its a MUST to come here and very spiritual experience. Your aunty is right apart from the rats i doubt its the case as most of the temples are vegetarian and even the monkeys.
Ciao, A.

Oh I do know about rats. Devout Hindus will not kill anything. Not even rats. These days most resturants and public buildings exterminate rats but in temples any living thing can roam freely.
I wonder if Manu has any stories. I believe he has been to India.

i didnt actually see the original body as its only taken out to public viewing every so many years but i saw where his body is looked after, i also know that his body was cut into pieces and sent to where he is at rest and when they opened the box his body had got back into place on its own....... i feel lucky to have been able to be there.
