SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Supervisor Chris Daly is firing back at Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly for comments he made on his radio show Wednesday that encouraged al-Qaida to "blow up" Coit Tower.

Kind of a Bushian "Bring it on" comment isnt it. Look how well that has worked for the Bushmeister. Its just stupid but it isnt inciting anything just pure false Bravado. I would bet in real life Rielly is a sopping Milk toast. Go boo in a dark alley and he would turn tail and run.

It seems like anyone will blast OReiley for saying anything nowadays.

I’ve a theory about why people like O’Reilly are successful. Theory: We no longer wait until 5 or 6 pm to get our news, so people like O’Reilly simply practice “shock journalism” so people will watch him. Simply put, that means that there is a demand for people like Bill who practice “shock journalism.”

If there is a demand—regardless of it is logical—there will be a supply. Bill is the supply (or part of it).

LOL, I saw him in the Katrina stuff. That judge (retired) was on O’Reilly right after Katrina, and he told Bill what was/was not legal about removing people from New Orleans. Bill argued with him. He actually told the judge (retired) that the judge (retired) was wrong. It was classic O’Reilly.

I am not lawyer, but I suspect that the judge (retired) knows a LOT more about the law than does Bill O’Reilly.

The show right after O'Reilly is just as looney to me. Why would anyone want to watch people bicker? Well, it seems a lot of people like that stuff.
