I saw Van Halen at the Texas Jam in 1978 (or ’79) at the Cotton Bowl. I knew very little about them. After 2 songs, I figured these guys were gonna be huge. They basically stole the show that day, imo. They were terrific.

I do not think they are on the road this year.
