Hey guys - I've been reading the hype about Battlefield2 for months, and decided to go ahead and buy it. I've never done online gaming, and decided to try it with this one. On two of the servers that I've tried to sign onto, I got into the game and then received a message that says "You have a high average ping and will be kicked" - and then I was disconnected from the game. What's up with that?

What kind of internet connection do you have? Becuase if you have a computer that can run the game of Battlefield 2, you should have the ability to have a good connection. I wish I could play battlefield 2.

I have cable internet. I found some servers to play on that don't boot me, so I guess I'll just stick with those. Thanks.

No its not your house, they been having trouble with the servers. I dont think they were exspecting so many people to be on it. In my opinion, it would have out beat halo2 if it had co-op and multiplayer. I was pissed, i didnt know that till after i got it. still a good game^_^

At least you guys can play it. I bought a brand new Alienware for the game, and it can't play it w/o crashing. EA support told me that's too bad for me.

:nonono: Awww thats just wrong. Try talking to a superviser, and make a real big fuss. Even if they cant help you , theyd give you something.

I've been going through the hoops with them for 6 months. I bought the game the day it was released, and have yet to be able to play it.
The demo, however, works perfectly.
This tells me that they spent more time on the demo trying to get ppl to buy the game, than the actual retail product itself, which is quite sad.

Electronic Arts apparently has a big problem with releasing games half-finished. If you really want to play the game, wait it out, and they'll eventually iron out the problems. Otherwise, don't buy another EA game again. I sure won't.
You can quote me on that.
