I am going to go back to bed, once I finish this work, I was abruptly and far too early woken up by a work related call. I had only been asleep for like 3 hours, so I am a bit dead right now.

But, I just needed to write something about this dream I had. It was amazing. It felt perfect. It felt right. Any awkward, nervous, or uneasy feeling that I've had over the last X amount of time was gone, and it was just a moment I wanted to hold onto forever. Do you ever dream like that? Where things just feel perfect and amazing? Do you ever dream about a situation or moment that you want desperately to never let go of? Do you ever dream so incredibly beautiful that you don't want to wake up? (I lucid dream often, so the point of realization 'oh this is a dream' is always a bit disapointing and then disconcerting, but then I try to milk it for as long as possible.)

Is a dream just an acting out or wild emotion or is it something to be trusted? Is it making a path clear, of what I want and a course of action I should take, or is it merely baseless fantasy?

Well I ended up getting back to sleep around 8:45, to get woken at 10 by a call from Adelphia confirming my appointment for the next day. Drat. As im falling back, I get woken up by my roommate making some noises in the other room. Then, I sleep until 2PM...it was glorious.

You can't generalize, dreams like thoughts can be profound and meaningful or not. The intensity of feeling tends to mean there's something there but the whole thing can be so abstract you can't really get at it...
