I'm very confused on what the upcoming Indy 500 is going to be. I suppose it is still put on by the IRL, but I can't find any info saying what the cars are like this year or anything.

When they formed the IRL, they said it was to get rid of the high-dollar super teams and the unpronouncable roster. But now I'm seeing Helio Castroneves, Gil de Ferran, Felipe Giaffone, Jaques Lazier, etc in the top points standings. It doesn't seem like they got rid of the big boys at all!

I like watching the best of the best cars, but it does get old seeing these pompous, arrogant europeans who think they're poop would make a pretty good laundry detergent talking about how beautiful they are. :bs:

When is World of Outlaws on? :werd:

I guess I figured some of this out if anyone cares. It simply seems that some of the CART boys are joining in with the IRL for Indianapolis. Seems neither of them were doing too great and felt the need to combine forces again. The cars are basically IRL type cars.
