im playing WOW right now, my previous game was EVE...occassionally i still play EVE...who play this game??

Played eve for like 4 days... found it somewhat boring.

WoW on the other hand I played for a few months... had a 53 Hunter.

EVE seems to be a game you have to play for a few months in order for it to be fun. It does have a few advantages over WoW, like having only one server that's global and a few other things. I've tried a 14 day trial and probably didn't play more than a couple of hours seven of those days.

WoW is instantly addicting.

I'm really not into mmorpgs, but if I had to chose one it would prolly be EVE.

yeah ur right...EVE has few advantages over WOW...i like how they make their server..it run only in one server but still it can handle 10,000 player...how cool :cool:

....But, WoW gives you more of a feeling of being with other people, the graphics are more vivid, the controls are more "direct" (i.e. it's wasd in stead of "doubleklick where you want to go) and really, I'd take the fantasy setting over the trekkieish scifi setting any day.

And there's violence all the way from day one :D

Usually, when people refer to a "fantasy world" in this context, they're talking about a tolkien-esque kind of world.

the former is so much superior to the later, since you can actually do whatever you want, and get as creative as you wish to be in inflicitng pain on people... :D

True, but the videogame gives you the visuals and the feel that some skill (other than math and strategy :l) is what makes you win. It feels more direct imo. This could be a good, if geeky, debate though :p

EVE and other future space things are considered to be science fiction (sci-fi). Starwars is a mix of both imo.

Starting out by mining, may eventually buy some attack ships once I have more cash. Just bought a 500k Industrial Ship, currently training so I can use it.
