gentlemen,
i have to say my local time is wrong. it slows ONE hour. now it's 9 36 am, but 8 36 am on DA.

Check what it says in your profile for DST correction.
It's in User CP, select "Edit Options". Scroll down to Date and Time.
Your DST should say "always off". If not, select it from the drop down box.

might be a daylight saving issue-we move the clck back an hour in the fall because Ben Franklin couldn't see in the dark.

I just noticed it. The local time on the left in this post isn't in sync with the forum clock. It's an hour off.
