Just a quick question to the other die hard music fans. I am curious who you all would pick as your dream team for backup vocals. PLease stick to actual backup singers, feel free to include soloists who started off in backups.
Personally I would love to do some songs with David lasley and Arnold Mcculler. They are both part of james Taylors band, and are both just incredible vocalists in their own right. Lasley is probably the most talented falsetto singer I have ever seen. he has incredible range and power, and is just musically a genius, from vocal arranging to writing to singing. Arnold Mcculler is great as well, and really adds so much soul to anything he graces with his voice. Both of the guys have been heard on albums from damn near every successfull act that has come out the past 25 years or so, over 30 for Lasley. Add Luther Vandros to the mix, who was another incredible backup in his day, and I would have myself some incredible harmonies worked out.
Just kinda curious if any of yall pay attention to the rest of the sounds that make vocal parts so great in music, or if its mainly about the lead vocalist for yall.
