Used to put alot into haruspicy, but I got picky about my sources--eventually I gave up divination after trying several other methods. I often regretted "looking".

Astrology, the occult, palm reading, tarot card reading, telepathy, psychics, shamans and all other forms of pseudoscience garbage serve no purpose but to cheapen the beauty of the real world. Richard Dawkins said it best when he made the comment, "Scientific truth is too beautiful to be sacrificed for the sake of light entertainment or money. Astrology is an aesthetic affront. It cheapens astronomy, like using Beethoven for commercial jingles."

I dabble in it time to time. Why do you ask?

"Sir, I have studied it, you have not!"
-Sir Issac Newton. 1680.

WHo said that old bastard Newton had to be correct in any thing ?
He *did* dabble in alchemy, you know...

I have no reason to believe divination can predict anything. Newton believed in many things, not all of them scientific; he was as much a mystic as a scientist.

That doesn't stop people from buying the Farmer's Almanac.

Which is the same thing that makes people want to read the horoscope in magazines.
