it always amazes me how alive you feel after dealing with death. standing over a dead person...you feel each heart beat, each sense is buzzing...life is much richer somehow. maybe its the contrast of them and me...their lack of movement, lack of color, lack of breath, lack of...life. or maybe its that looking at the dead you see your future, and realize we're on borrowed time here. such a strange feeling.
