I don't oppose the minutemen. They would be better utilized sitting on the border of a restaurant than the US/Mex one.

Immigration is good. In 2050 the United States, because of religion and immigration, is expected to have a median age of about 35, while the EU and Japan will have a much higher median age.

In all of our history we (natives) have railed against the immigrant hordes. Whether they were German, Irish, Italian (Mediterranean), Chinese, Eastern European, Latino/Hispanic and on and on.

If you look at the political cartoons that are used to describe any of these people they all have one thing in common. They are generally portrayed as alien in features.

But, for the most part, no one would really deny that those above groups are very "American" and not very "alien" at all.

But, to stop illegal immigration all you need to do is stop the ability of companies to hire them ,and to hire them for less.

Nothing more is needed than to dry up the illegal jobs.

I would guess illegal immigration occurs in all nations. I've read it happens a lot in Europe and other nations. I don't believe that the true will of the american people is behind the MinuteMen or the anti-illegal immigrant movement.
