View Full Version : i got a job IFF 10-04-2005, 04:10 PM yes i've got a job. it's in a lcoal accountancy practice. i start on monday and i'm very excited Criminal 10-22-2005, 04:03 AM Best of luck to ya, I took two classes in Accounting myself. I once considered a career in Accounting. Jay GW 02-10-2006, 06:06 PM so.....hows the job? IFF 02-10-2006, 06:41 PM i'm happy wtih it. good nice work collegues. nice pay at the end of the week i think (though honestly speaking i'm not sure how much, all know is my bank of ireland account is healthy whenever i go to withdraw money- is that not worrying that a trainee accountant doesn't know how much he gets paid a week after being in a job for 4 months) it can be tedious and boring at times but all jobs are like that i've been told though the 3 hardest things about the job are: 1: making my diary comes to 37.5 hours at the end of the week. 2: answering the phone when my boss rings up to my phone 3. Avoiding hiting the reset button on my processor with my foot when i've not saved the excel sheet i'm working on for 3 hours IFF 02-15-2006, 04:46 PM one thing i do miss about college that a job lacks to the interaction with people my own age. it;s hard to go from college with a 55 person class, most of which are my own age) to a work place with 15 people with onl 3 others my own age it's hard to adjust and if speaking honestly, i really miss my classmates but then again, also at college, i was one of the people who my classmates would come to for advice, notes, answers to exam paper things or help in general with the course (as i would have been one of the top 3 or 5 in the class) and it's different in work |
