Many seem to love "exploring" the realms of "Things Unseen" - it is like an addiction to let the mind wander (and wonder at the same time). After time some of the "events" and "places" visited in the mind become "real", hence references to "paranormal" and "metaphysical" and other abnormal things. It is like telling a lie enough times; after a while you start believing it. But it's all in the mind!
