Columbo is the coolest show ever, and I LOVE Peter Falk. :D

I love his quirky stories about his wife and I love his his crappy, POS car. I love his glass eye. He rocks my socks! :D

They need to bring back those Sunday afternoon Columbo marathons. :nice:

I hope you don't turn up your nose at this, but some people luck into the right character and it is a vehicle for their charming selves and I see Peter Falk much like Tom Selleck in Magnum PI.
As John Cleese did with Basil in Fawlty Towers or Carroll O'Connor did with Archie Bunker in All In The Family.
Yes, the character was made for them (even if they had to audition for it) but the character never would have come alive and been so much a part of people's lives if not for the actor.
