So, is it just me or am I a complete thread killer? I did a search on my posts, most of them I am the last person to post and it's been dead for a few days, and the others it seems like my posts didn't get read.

Do I have no intelligent thought in my posts?

P.S. Don't worry about hurting my feelings...give me the brutal honest truth.

you are new... give it some time.

I don't think you are all those things you stated ;)

if you really want to have people respond to you, pick a political position, either far right or far left and say something in the political forum. the more controversial and more certain you are in your position, the more response you will get. Good times!!

I'm not allowed to have a political view. Government employee and all. Well actually in a communistic heirarchy fighting for a Democracy.

I think that's it. When I started posting here, I felt the same way. I felt like that guy who puts his .02 into a conversation just to see half the people in the circle walk away and the other half talk amongst themselves. As soon everyone began to notice and recognize the wisdom of Redfield, everything came up roses for me.

Okay...wasn't going to say anything, but here goes.... :o

It's the onions. Lose the onions- bad breath kills a post faster than a server breakdown.

Being an American Citizen, even IF you are in the military, or a civil servant does not exclude your right to an opinion. It only means that while IN uniform, or on the job that you do not make policy, you only implement it. Outside of work, you still have all the rights of other U.S. Citizens, only; IMHO, you have a little louder voice.

Or you could go to the other end of the scale and rarely/never go in there......Im fairly scared of it after venturing in there and barely getting out alive....therefore its easier to make dumb posts in a safe environment such as the lounge.

well, I am a city civil service employee.. at election time, we get letters that say we can't have bumper stickers on our cars, signs on our property and we are not to discuss political figures on the job.

I could care less because I don't live in the city or parish, and I don't have voting privlidges there :D
