So I was babysitting, and I gave my niece half a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and a nectarine for lunch. Man! I had to laugh because she reminded me of Chris Kattan's SNL character... that tarzan guy who throws food all over the place. I couldn't find a very good pic, but you probably remember....

But she is too cute. I'm kinda sad that when I leave for maybe over a year, I'm not gonna be there to see her take her first step (which will probably happen in a few weeks) and start talking and everything. :( I'm gonna miss her so much!

cmc - i can and thank you. :)
i don't know, but the image of grown people playing with food with feet and hands is just disturbing. :(
I agree with you. That's why the sketch was funny. :D
oh, and my niece is 11 months... that's why she's messy. She hasn't quite mastered the art of eating neatly yet. :D

lolz of course. :) my niece is ready to turn two and she still struggles with anything other than finger food.
Aww.... Anyway, I adore my niece... I don't know if you ever heard the whole story about her, but she is definitely a miracle baby and a gift from God. Like I said, i'm sad that I'm not gonna be around to see her for probably over a year. But I'm sure my sister will be sending me lots of pics, she always does. :p

i have read the story and i agree, she is a miracle baby. :) it is hard being away from them when they are that little. such a short period of time can seem an eternity for a baby. my sister lives in arizona and i see her baby maybe twice a year and each time i visit, even though i feel like i know her via pics and phone calls, she takes a few hours to become reacquainted with me.
the year will fly by faster than you know it. :)
