What a ***** too! it calls for 18 hrs labor and I got that much into now and Im only 2/3s done. I did a KB install on a car just like mine in 5 hrs.

One big problem I have now is that the kit uses a blow though position on the maf instead of pull through like Vortech. But I have a 90mm maf and the tube that comes with it is WAY too small to fit. Im thinking of pulling through the maf instead sine the hose on that end is 4" like the MAF it will be easy to install. Do you all think that should work?

I have no idea about the MAF. But I do think it's different each way. As I'm sure you know the MAF basically measures ambient temp and then it measures how much the air is cooling another wire that is heated up above ambient temp ... thus determining air flow. after the blower the air is compressed before it is not ... there will definitely be a difference in the actual amount of air (oxygen) being sent into the engine (the same amount of air measured by the MAF at 10psi will have more o2 than at 0psi) …. What all that means to the computer (considering you will also have a FMU) … I have no idea. Good luck on the install ... it'll be worth it when your all done.

In case I didnt tell you all, I went ahead and got 42, a 90mm Lightning MAF and no FMU

Cool ... I'm guessing you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for tuning..... What did you find out so far about the pull through - blow through use of the MAF?
