I landed last night at about 9:40 p.m. in what may very well be the last flight to Pittsburgh I make for a long time.
I closed out my bank account, sold/gave stuff away, and shipped a lot of other stuff home.
I also said my farewells to the few students and faculty members who I enjoyed the company of. Those who were there anyway. I did miss a couple, but c'est la vie.
I walked out of the building with my back straight and my head high, and I didn't look back as I left.
That soul-sucking building will never again be my prison, and god does it feel good to be free.

'cuz you were MIA while I was figuring out what to do with stuff.
Getting my stuff is a lot like...well...getting certain other things from me. You have to jump on it early.

(in my defense, I will offer this: a dirty mind is a terrible thing to waste!)
Man, I'm going straight to hell.

:P
And gave does not denote free, it denotes a transfer of ownership. Free is an inference.
:D
I still have a bunch of random junk coming home, if you find yourself out in the L.A. area, I might be pursuaded to part with some of it. :)
