Another member in the iTunes forum has the following problem, and no one seems to be helping:

Oops! On accident I deleted my whole library and now there are no songs in it. However, I still have all of the songs on my **** because I don't autosynch. How can I transfer all of my songs from my **** to my library if they're not in my iTunes music folder? Thanks!

I dunno cuz I don't have an ****. Has anyone here got a clue how to do this?

I have an Apple Brand Unmentionable Personal Music Assistant. I've never tried copying from the Unmentionable into iTunes - but I suggest the unfortunate music loser just try selecting a song from the Unmentionable's library and dragging & dropping to iTunes. This method works in the reverse - it might work. I have heard, however, that Apple is working on a software upgrade to allow such transfers, so it might not work either.

Oh, by the way, if you delete the playlist, it doesn't delete the mp3 off the computer, so they may just have to find the mp3's and re-open them in iTunes to put it back in the library.

sure, you can even just do search of your hard drive for .mp3 and it will find all of your mp3 files on your computer.
