Now, I have always been a fan of Survivor, and personally think that it is still a better show than all of the ones that come and go. I can't wait till next season.
Another good one is Hell's Kitchen though I think it may have been a one time deal. So what is your favorite? Is it something new or is itway back to the originals, I mean before Survivor, Cops, Real World, Road Rules, etc.

I dislike faux Reality Television... which are really just soap operas.
They handpick people out of a huge pool, choosing those that will give the drama they are looking for. How is this Reality? Realworld, Roadrules, Survivor, all fit into this skewed dramatized reality.

Programs like Fear Factor are ok because they actually involve some sort of skill rather than gossip and back stabbery... but are still hindered by a blatent cheesiness so prevalent in todays mainstream programming.... "IS FEAR A FACTOR" ....STFU!

When I first heard of "Survivor" I thought they were going to put a bunch of people on an island and see whom could actually SURVIVE... live off the land... etc... but it just turned into a "WIN This aztec if you backstab your buddies competition" gheeyy...

Dog the Bounty Hunter.

It is the only reality TV show I watch - sporadically at that.

I have to admit to having a fondness for "reality" shows involving has been or never were celebs :hmm:

Loved Celebrity Mole (bring it back!!!), and am currently addicted to The Surreal Life & Celebrity Fit Club 2.

Hahaha, The Surreal Life is so screwed-up. I love it! That's probably the only one I've watched more than once or twice. And I have to admit I got a bit of a kick out of the one with Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra the few times I saw it. :p

I will only watch Survivor - or maybe Extreme Makeover Home Edition because I'm a big fan of seeing something torn apart and redone.

I also like movies where they fix boats to a cheesy 80's montage. :|

I've only seen one reality show that I've liked. It was that one where Ted Nugent tortured those people.

All other reality shows are like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Reality TV Sucks!

American Idol's amusing for the first 3 episodes a season when you get to watch all the complete goobers who think they can sing but really don't know what singing is.

I never saw Survivor until the second or third one. Tuned in to see what all the hullaballoo was about. Was overwhelmingly underimpressed. Total crapola.

I must admit i did watch most of the first season of Fear Factor, before it turned into complete garbage, and the latter 3/4 of the first season of Big Brother; the only reality show i found mildly palatable.

At this point, reality shows have been sewage for several years and are getting stupider all the time. Network TV in general has become total repetitive multi-knockoff crap. Out of the 30 or so shows advertised as being on the way for the fall season on the big networks, i haven't seen one that looks or sounds like it might be interesting.

I'll stick to the science, history, and nature programs.

I don't even think I watch regular TV anymore. "Reality" TV has become sort of high camp--if you don't take it for reality... I enjoyed the Osbournes madly. What a friggin stuttering mental deficient. (Pick one...) I like a little Real World ('cha), Survivor, American Idol--but only the first few shows when everybody sucks, I did like Carmen and Dave...and I like those crazy make over shows ...What Not To Wear... :nice:

I still think Survivor is the best reality TV show out there. I just finished watching the Season 2 finale on OLN last night, and it just reminded me of how engaging and well done the show is compared to a lot of reality shows. I'm looking forward to Season 3 being replayed as well since I missed that one when it first came out.

Ok, I have to admit, I'm starting to like that Nanny 911. I like seeing spoiled brats get put in their place, and since I have a kid, I can take a few pointers. Those nanny's know their stuff.

Did anyone catch Biggest Loser last night? I watched part of it but friends came over and couldn't watch -- how was it?

3 hour count down to Made in the USA :)
