No plot. No thought-provoking dialogue. Just action, and not very believable action at that.

Oh and the movie supposedly takes place after 2050, but all the cars on the road are available today. The Chrysler 300, Crossfire, Dodge Magnum, Chevy SSR, and Cadillac Cien, and even a GMC truck are all in it, but I didn't see ANY cars that I didn't recognize. So apparently the auto industry went 50 years without designing ANY new cars. Yeah, sure.

The only cool part was the flying jetbikes.

I dunno I thought it was good. Not much dialogue, but the plot was great. The actions was great, but it was somewhat unbelievable. I liked it though :)

You could always try parts: the clonus horror in all it's 70s Adidas glory... of course it's probably best to watch the MST3K version. ;)

No, I haven't seen The Island

Lucrative product placement, I'm sure.

I (unfortunately) saw it, only because my girlfriend is in the credits, so she dragged me to a matinee to see it. The action sequences once they were outside were completely unbelievable, but still sort of entertaining, which was the ONLY remotely good thing about the film.

Of course I knew this was going to be the case before actually going in. The only clue I needed was this: Directed by Michael Bay. Those words should automatically turn audiences away from the theater, he is the definition of a hack.
