I have been trying to find a new free and legal way to download music streams to my computer so I have some new music to listen to while at work. All the programs I have tried are full of errors or adware. I was wondering if anyone here has tried Rhapsody 25 (http://www.rhapsody.com/freemusic) . I am looking into it since the selection is suppose to be good and I hear their newsletters allow you to preview new music. Can anyone tell me about the quality?

...I hear their newsletters allow you to preview new music.

It is unlikely you will find good music from a newsletter. It would be great if there was a website that did do that though.

I would suggest downloading the free Winamp and then download the free Streamripper plugin to record what station you like. Winamp has country music at CD quality if that is the kind of music you like (if I am inferring correctly from your username).

Hey everybody, I’m new and thought I’d drop a line and introduce myself (you may have seen me post on how terrible BEP's performance was at Street Scene already). I live in DC and read about/listen to/dj music about 12 hours a day, work in marketing, and try and generally stay on top of pop culture. Anyway, when I find cool, free, and legal stuff I’d be happy to share/post it if you’re interested….
