This is the best (Flash?) online animation, and just the best electric guitar site, I've seen, period. The playing appears to be based on (if not samples) Steve Vai.

A cool improvement would be to control the Vai cartoon guy when he battles the demon (a la the Crossroads movie) by typing in the appropriate notes of a solo so that it is in a relevant scale in the key of a song instead of just random stuff.

Neat idea though. I wonder how tough it is to program Flash nowadays.
