His previous site was coded in 100% Flash (normally Flash is a useless and annoying intro thing in which you click "skip intro") and pretty intriguing.
I am just checking out the new site now. It is like going into a house. I just watched a little footage on the widescreen LCD "TV" and am continuing the cyber visit.

There should be more in depth info such as band members and his guitars.
Here is the Abe Wechter guitar with a scalloped fretboard and sympathetic strings made for John in 1975.

Here is the Rex Bogue double neck (the late Rex Bogue had ingeniously made both headstocks look like 6 stringers even though one was 12). John had this from 1972-75 before it got damaged. If you have never heard the Vision of the Emerald Beyond album, this guitar was used on that. Eternity's Breath which is on that album is my favorite McLaughlin song. That song seems to encapsulate all the elements of fusion. The Eastern style riffs are pretty amazing and the drumming is outstanding.
