"Happy Endings." Though it sounds like some cheesy porno flick, it is a movie with a pretty big cast and decent story. The plot, the characters, the acting, it was all good and interesting, but something was missing. The pacing was awful. You felt like this 2 hour movie sucked up 3:30 hours of your life. I think part of that may have been the sheer number of characters. You did feel like you got to know like 6 characters pretty well, but then at the same time, you didn't get as deep as you wanted with some...

Overall, it is a decent renter/on HBO movie, not something you need to rush out and see.

The movie follows a few different characters, all of whom are loosely related to one another in some fashion. Its ultimately a story about relationships, friends, and why people do the things they do. Its about honesty, communication, emotional freedom.

The movie is about being honest to yourself, to your friends, and from there, having the 'happy ending.'

You cannot forever hide...

Though it seems to end on a happy note, that is with some prying, to get that message. The movie overall feels really awkward, like uncomfortable. Its about people betraying one another, about cheating, about lying, and about not being true to themselves. Maybe it all strikes just too close to home...
