I'm talking about Tactical RPG Video Games.
Glorified Chess...

Examples:
Ogre Battle (SNES)
Ogre Tactics (SNES)
Final Fantasy Tactics (PS)
Disgaea (PS2)
Front Mission (PS2)

I wish they would make more games like these...

You'd probably love fire emblem, a friend of mine is crazy about it. I haven't really played it myself.

It's also for super nintendo I think. Maybe they're different games. But if amazing graphics is what you're after, fire emblem might not be it :l

a lot of places are selling it on clearance now but thats still $29.99, im reluctant to splurge.

Imho, advance war is about the only one in the list, afaik, that could qualify as "tactic" in the true meaning of the term :/

i do enjoy strategic games

i alkso enjoy sport management games which are kinda strategic/tactics based

Good tactics games....most of the good ones are on GBA.
