I know several people who are probably of the same caliber as those who won ... but simply don't get the media coverage.

I think the awards ceremony is rigged ... it's a popularity contest rather than a true 'Idiocy' contest.

For example, take my leadership in the Army for example.

Who else could declare one day to be a target practice range and then forget to reserve th range AND forget to requisition the ammunition.

That should've been a contender ... but no media coverage.
