Those who had heard or saw on news that "settlers killed 12 years old palestinian boy" most likely never got any correction.

This how the negative israeli image is created.

I puted this link, so nobody could say that this is some "zionist site" telling the story.

Most of the accusations against israelis end the same way - without anybody in the west noticing.

I confess I heard this story yesterday and it did say Israeli settlers did it, it should have said it could have been either Israelis or Palestinians that could have killed the boy if there was no clear evidence.

H2g2fan, yes a lot more than one boy has been killed but this story is about one boy.

Thanks for admitting the facts, not trivial at all.
The problem is - if I would not send this information - one more such "case" would be left in your (and many other people) memory.
And this - when throwing such accusation against Israel without correction (or in the best scenario - with a small correction on last page) - is the rule, and not the exception.

I confess I heard this story yesterday .

My god, I just noticed the "yesterday".
It is much worce then I thought.
Yesterday palestinain police allready had a suspect, and it was clear that it has nothing to do with israelis, I think, even day before yesterday.

"Israeli security officials told The Jerusalem Post that PA security officials informed their Israeli counterparts on Thursday that the boy was killed by a Palestinian youth, and not by settlers as initially alleged."

That's in 20 july newspaper.

I never follow these stories any more. After over 40 something years of hearing them, I can automatically assume the press is lying when reporting about Israeli 'crimes', and be sure that I'll be right 99.99% of the time, it's such a standard practice.

The same with 'Palestinian peace initiatives' and 'cease fires'; I can asume they're lying pos's and are merely restocking for another wave of killing, and be right 100% of the time.

Boy, you really sound like a bastion of impartiality.

What's 'impartial' about accepting chronic distortions and agenda driven 'reporting' as the truth? Oh yeah, I forgot, you think Germany won WW II, and don't like Jews, so you're 'impartial'.

our news reported the whole story, including the false accusations.

These are the same allegations the pa and press allies they employ made when Mohammed al-Dura was killed and they claimed it was Israelis that did it. He became a symbol and low and behold, it turns out that there is practically NO chance the Israelis killed him either after an investigation.

our news reported the whole story, including the false accusations.

So what we have here is a clear cut case, where it was clear that this is a lame accusation a day after, with palestinians themselves admitting it is a lame accusation, and in Holland people know is was, in England and New Zeland the this lame accusation is reported as a fact.

Not good.

BTW, I would not be surprisied, after some information I saw, that in New Zeland most of people still believe in Jenin massacre.

Why are Palestinian boys luckier than American boys? Because every Palestinian boy will get to join a rock group!
