I've worked for some Lebonese (muslims) for 6months. Lebonese, Arabs, and other mid-eastern people I've found aren't much "fun" to work for/deal with... I'll leave it at that.

I would agree with this statement. I worked at a computer store FOR THEM and lots of customers that WERE THEM. They yell and scream at you, they HAVE TO GET WHAT THEY WANT. Even when I was out of there at working at Staples (big retail store) they would come in there and be like "give me a deal.". Yeah right. :rolleyes:

It is funny the issue of foul odor has come up in regards to Muslims. I went to the grocery store today and as I walked by several Muslims wearing jimbeams (similar to burkas), there was an offensive stench emanating from them.

What I"m saying is the world IS in a war against islamists, that wish to dictate their terms.
Egypt and Turkey are the first in line, but what happens there should not be seen as not related to the west.
Actually moderate muslims are sometimes complaining that the west policy is not supporting them, but the more radical ones.

I live in a highly muslim neighbourhood, and yes, I do have many muslim friends, some six years back I was on contract as fulltime work was a bit scarce, I got home about couple of months or so for a week. My wife was in an accident, she didn't want to notify me as I would have come hjome and we could not really afford the loss of income. My neighbours from three doors up (pakistani muslims) took my daughters in and looked after them, even though they had six children of their own, and when my wife came out of hospital they nursed her during her onvalescence and guess what, my wife and daughters weren't raped, my wife and daughters weren't behaeded or blown up or shot or forcibly converted to Islam, the only thing that they asked was that, when muslim,visitors came round they should dress in trousers not skirts.

As for the alcohol bit, my local off-licence is run by muslims, they do a very good deal.


As for the odour you will find that most people smell to a greater or lesser extent . I have noted smelly muslims, christians, jews and atheists. Smelliest person I ever knew was a Buddhist who used to walk around the streets of London barefoot and didn't wash them when he came in. After a day of walking in the pavement pizzas and dog leavings round Kilburn you really did not want him in your home and his was downright whiffy.

Another reason for noticing body odour is that it is different to yours and much body odour depends on what you eat, don't believe me? Change your diet radically for a week and then sniff under your armpit, before you put on the camouflaging deodorant, you will notice a difference.

If you think that bosses don't want everything their way you must have had some very lenient bosses, and as for computer trade ifits anything like retail greengrocers or hifi you try telling people that they don't want lemons they want potatoes, or that they don't want a CD player they want a tapedeck.

And yes they do ask for deals for bulk, so do I and I am a white heathen. I buy appliances and ask if there is anything off for cash on the nail and most times I get it, usually about 5 - 10%.

Having the most interaction with her among anyone on DA (short of her RL friends, maybe), I can assure you that she is quite intelligent, and her thinking is not considered original by you because others have alrady stated her thoughts, but how she arrived at her own conclusions is surprisingly unique, especially for one so young. She is just more innocent and ignorant of world than she believes she is.

I mentioned it earlier in the thread (and Spaz probably would not appreciate my saying it) but I'll repeat: she's the brightest kid I've met that age, with the possible exception of my son.
