I'm probably not going back to Carnegie Mellon in the Fall.

I'll take a long weekend to go back there and sell/give away/ship home my belongings that are housed in a storage unit there, but if things continue to go the way they look right now, I will not be returning to school there.

Not just for another year off, but ever.

This is not to say that I'm dropping out of school, as I intend to transfer to another college or university, but the details of that will be revealed later.

I'll probably go back around the first day of classes (Aug. 29th) so that I can say goodbye to the...oh...eight or so classmates of mine who will actually care that I'm leaving.

I'm taking a different path.

Nothing bad happened, I just decided that it's not what I want anymore, and I'm going to pursue what I want. It also turns out that what I want is not offered as an undergraduate program at CMU. They have a graduate program, but nothing undergrad.

So I'm looking elsewhere.

I'll go into more specifics later, I don't really want to reveal everything just now, I'm not ready to yet.
