Has any simpsons episodes been banned in the US?
This wednesday is a simpsons episode which is being advertised as banned in the US. I can't give you an episode name but the preview adverts show Jesus bouncing on a blanket in the clouds and some humorus religous bents.

Wasn't banned (that episode involved Bart going to Catholic school). The episode showed Catholic heaven as a party place (piņatas, Jesus bouncing on the blanket, etc) and Protestant heaven as more country club-ish.
Perhaps there were local outlets somewhere that chose not to air it. Fox didn't ban the episode. If I recall, it may have been delayed a few weeks due to Pope John Paul II's death.
