View Full Version : Yet More Leftwing Demonization of the GOP

Or, more preaching to the choir which will be ineffective with the majority of Americans.

Paul Begala continues the Lefty Meme, "The Right is EVUL", with his recent comment that "Republicans want to kill us".

Karl Rove is smiling.

Young liberals this week flocked to the nation's capital to hear, among other things, liberal television pundit and Democrat political strategist Paul Begala accuse Republicans of wanting to kill him and his children to preserve tax cuts for the rich.

Begala was featured at the first-ever Campus Progress National Student Conference, which was designed to provide campus liberals with the tools necessary to fight the conservative movement. The event also drew former President Bill Clinton, for whom Begala once worked as an advisor.

A panel discussion entitled "Winning the War of Ideas" centered on topics discussed in the book "What's the Matter with Kansas" by Thomas Frank and detailed the challenges that Democrats face in persuading voters in the American heartland and elsewhere to embrace their agenda and support their candidates.

Begala's presence on the panel created a stir when he declared that Republicans had "done a p***-poor job of defending" the U.S.
Republicans, he said, "want to kill us.

Hmmm...I can't ever remember any Republicans holding a rally in DC declaring that the dems "want to kill us".

But, please, keep it up.

There is a difference between criticizing the policies and values of a party - and demonizing the members as Evil or Stupid.

I can't recall any serious leader of the GOP making the kinds of statements that Dean, Begala and Kennedy have recently done. It may play well to unsophisticated college kids, but to responsible adults it is very silly.

With the exception of a few like Tom Tancredo, the republicans are generally a bunch of politically correct pansies afraid to tell the truth regarding things like satanic murderers like Ted "The Swimmer" Kennedy. The republicans spend their time pandering to the left, while the democrats spend their time attacking the right which is difficult for them because the right is so far to the left nowadays.

This is because it's the democraps turn to get elected . They take turns, no such thing as two parties. Even the old republican hypocrit Billy Gramm is campaining for them . He invited the two clintooks on stage and told billy to run the Un,while chilly runs America .Not a quote, but close enough . Lauras too busy with 'Desperate Housewives and telling in-direct beastiality jokes about her hubby and horses, while bush invites porn star perverts to whitehouse dinner who later confeseses she wants to have lesbo affair with his twins .

yes this is the beginning of the end for sure .

Under the circumstances , i don't see myself as paranoid. But I do see alot of people blind to the dangerous situation we have allowed ourselves to be put in .

The are trying to keeeeeeeeeeeeeel me. They switched my coke with Ajax. The power was cut off in my home last night, just as I was hoping to watch Fahrenheit 911 for the 37th time. They have even paid off the nice, misunderstood minorities at the public school(ya, right) I send my children to to attack my wonderful children, both physically and verbally.

I believe this is a criticism of the values that have led to the sex scandals in the Church - not a commentary that the Dems Are Evul.

"When the culture is sick, every element in it becomes infected. While it is no excuse for this scandal, it is no surprise that Boston, a seat of academic, political and cultural liberalism in America, lies at the center of the storm."

January 2002 quote from Ann Coulter's address to CPAC (the Conservative Political Action Conference).

"When contemplating college liberals, you really regret once again that John Walker is not getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors."

Her words were applauded by Condoleeza Rice, Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy Thompson, and Lynne Cheney

How boring, more hypocritical sniveling from the supporters of a 'Party' who hires vermin like Lee Atwater and Karl Rove to direct their 'talking points' and campaign strategies.

"The radical Democratic left is an army of soulless ghouls. Being of the living dead, they live in a world of death and try to impose it on we the living. Witness who led the charge: a radical homosexual, Barney Frank. A radical abortion Mafiosa, Barbara Boxer. What is difficult for we the living to comprehend is the reason they can engage in such anti-life abominations is because they have no souls"

Does Cheney telling Senator Leahy to go '**** Yourself' count? Boed, your bias seriously cant be so bad that you think only Dems trash talk. Your brainwashed beyond reason if thats the case. We all know both sides drop criticsms of culture constantly. I recomend reading 'Whats the matter with kansas', Which features a vast collection of democratic criticms by Republicans in the first 100 pages alone. Also, the book is mostly about how there isnt that much of a difference between 'heartland america' and 'metropolitan' america, and you can easily see how the right has done its best to outline differences to draw votes. Most likely, to bring down that barrier would make many states lose their distinct reason these days to vote republican, which is mostly 'those metropolitan liberals dont know what we want!'.

Considering that Walker is a traitor who took up arms against the U.S., commenting that he deserved the death penalty due to his treason is not out of bounds.

^ When did Savage become a member of the GOP leadership.

Providing quotes from info-tainers who say things for shock value to titillate their audience is not what I asked for. Please provide examples of prominent members of the GOP declaring that the Dems Are Evul.

Michael Savage is probly mad, but at least he makes sense and tells it like it is . I listen to him sometimes and read his book , not the last one, but the Savage Nation.

I will check out Liberalism is a Mental Dis-Order , if the liberal library ever gets it in .
