What do you think of the Minuteman who are going to our border to help keep out illegal aliens ?


Now that congress has once again went back on promise of hiring 2000 extra agents and adding 8000 beds. They have cut both in haf today .

If I was younger and more healthy, I'd be there for sure .

they are doing a great service to their country. i can only hope more ppl mobilize and join this great effort. :nice:

I agree of course . They are asking for volunteers from all over for October . I wish we could go. It's non violent and they really plan to keep it that way .

I think president Bush is right. I think the probability of violence and conflict is present. I don't think these guys are heroes and I don't their efforts will amount to much more than possibly getting attention to the issue out to the general public. I think Tom Tancredo is an honest yet untalented ass who does more harm to our country than good. I think the american people have other more important things to think about than illegal aliens. I think if the american people wanted something more to be done about the problem it would get done. I think it is okay for the american people to act as they are acting regarding this issue. I think people who advocate violence and racism and point the finger at me and my fellow countrymen telling me how apathetic we all are and how we need to do something now because the sky is falling can go straight to hell.

Yea, since our own government wont do their job of protecting us, someone else has to.

I dont understand how the government can be worried about security but yet, leave our borders wide open. Something isnt adding up and it bothers me.

The failure of the Senators to support a mere 2,000 border patrol agents on The Intelligence Overhaul Bill can be broken down to politically correct, and anti-American, democrat leftists and the politically correct, pandering republicans.

SAN DIEGO -- A group of local Latino activists plans to monitor the U.S.-Mexico border beginning Saturday in an effort to record the actions of the controversial California Minutemen.

The Minutemen plan to patrol the border from Jacumba to Tecate beginning Saturday. A group of lawyers, business leaders and immigration rights activists said Thursday they plan to record Minutemen activities using video cameras and will take legal action if any laws are broken.

"We are here to strongly state that we are united in our repudiation of these individuals who are nothing but thrill seekers and who couldn't handle the heat of the Arizona desert," said David Valladolid.

..."We are a nonracist, nonviolent group and there's a frustration because you're wanting to get us," said James Chase, a member of the California Minutemen. "You're wanting to record something bad. We're not going to do anything bad."

...The Latino group is calling on all cities, especially those in the South Bay, to also denounce the Minutemen's presence in San Diego.

"Homeland Security" is just a great cloud of smoke to cover bush's installation of a police state and compromise of Americans' civil liberties. And the Minuteman project is a fine start for the citizenry doing the work left undone by this duplicitous administration and averting our nation from its path to globalism. That said, I believe that NO violence should be exercised against the illegal immigrants, who are after all merely seeking a better life, unless it is for self-defense. Still, I believe the Minutemen should be armed and prepared to meet an even greater threat, that of invading foreign forces; Mexican troops have already been spotted inside Texas. The minutemen aren't shooting anyone. The rules are so strict that they aren't even allowed to touch an illegal, or even give them food or water. If they do, they're fired on the spot.

It's a shame that we need them, but the politicians in both parties have no will to stop this problem. Each side has different reasons, and both are wrong.

There's a new chapter that has recently opened in Maryland, and they're targeting employers of illegals. That's where the battle needs to be fought, and it's the only way it can ever be won. I


Illegals need to have every incentive to come here taken away, or they'll just keep coming. We could lay mine fields at the borders and they would still come one way or another, as long as they have a reason to.

The Minutemen are just bringing this country closer to where we need to be; WITH CLOSED BORDERS! The Mexicans, Cubans, and whoever else wants to be a leach on the economy that Whites have set up need to be stopped. No body can make the argument that people would not pick strawberries or do any of the work the Mexicans are doing for us now. It is just not applicable; if someone needs the money they will do it. Here is an idea, put all the people unnecessarily on welfare to work picking strawberries, if I have to work, then so should they!
