PAMPLONA, Spain (AP)--At least three people were gored and several others suffered scrapes and cuts on Saturday in Spain's running of the bulls.

The bulls die later in the ring so I suppose its only fair that some people also face risks. On the other hand lots of bulls get injured in the run itself. People who run with the bulls should know they are taking risks.

Ditto that. Truly barbaric.

They should do something about killing older greyhounds by hanging from trees also, that happens in some areas of Spain. If you are going to kill a dog shoot it in the head or take it to the vet to be put down, slow death by hanging is needlessly cruel.

I don't really like bullfighting either, but the bull-racing stuff, I really want to do that one day ...

I root for the bulls.
Incidentally, my grandfather took us down to a bull fight in tijuana sometime ago. Very barbaric. More matadors need to be gored.

Myrddin has also pointed out the cruelty towards greyhounds, poor dogs! theres hardly any laws here to protect animals in general.
Theres a lot to be done still here and hopefully more people think like me.

The greyhound races are just another example of humankind's wanton exploitation of the animal kingdom..for people's own financial gain....(Read "greed") :(

Rodeos suck too. Several horses died or were put down in Calgary last week when some horses got spooked & ran off a bridge. Many plunged to their deaths. Almost every year one or two horses die in chuckwagon races & whatnot. If it were people things would shut down pretty fast.
Animals aren't here for our amusement.

Anyone who gets in front of a pissed off bull can't be right. Where I grew up, we were always told to stay on the safe side of the fence.

I guess they're trying to prove something to someboidy, but to me, they're proving that they're lacking common sense.
