Oh well, I was just telling a friend... if people don't like me because of my religious beliefs, there's not much I can do about it.

I like you for your religious beliefs. Heck, I liked you before I knew of your religious beliefs, but perhaps something good just shined through anyway, even before you officially became "born again." :D

Good thread. There was something like this I wanted to post to you. I'll have to see if I can find it (since I've now switched over to the new 'pooter), or I may save it for later. (I'm such a tease)

I just made a copy of it for my Moms' teen Sunday School class!

I had someone ask me earlier this week how I pray. What I did a long time ago was set up a special email to Jesus through the email of my IP service. Ofcourse, HE doesn't need it....but each morning...I send Him an email of my concerns and even links to news stuff....HAHA! I consider it my Jesus Blog.....I even send Him personal love cards from Riverdance and forward email. It's soooooo stupid....but it so works for me. I consider it my way of praying and staying in touch with my best friend.

I'm so sorry for anyone who doesn't know Him in that capacity. I swear...without Him....I would just as soon not breathe tomorrow.

Zoot, that is cool! and I know what you mean... When I look around at all the bad stuff in the world, and the injustice, hate, violence, etc... I just think about God, how HE is love, goodness, justice, etc... and it always gives me peace and puts the smile back on my face. So, I hear ya! :)

God never caused our problems....Man did. He has always wanted to be more wiser and powerful than God...much why he bit the apple. Maybe we all bite the apple at some point of our lives....thinking ourselves smart and cool..... and eventually the taste is so bitter and lonely.....we seek God in a hurry!! And for those of us who did...He is quite willing to be found.
