When he began shooting Star Wars Episode II in an all-digital format, George Lucas imagined that Attack of the Clones could screen in 2,000 digital-projection theaters nationwide. Oh, well. As of the May 16 opening, only 19 screens had the equipment required to do so. Here's where to find them.

LA People, who's in for their viewing pleasure to see it in DIGITAL? (We should wait until the demand dies down prolly and just see it traditional like opening night...)

I'm on board for that one.

That's closer to the house than the office is!

Ditto! Man, you know that theatres going to be PACKED!!

I'm very proud that Dallas has one of the 19 nationwide. It shows how advanced North Texas has become.

Right on u8nxprt!!!

I just verified with the wife that on May 24, 2002 all four of us will be going to AMC 1000 Van Ness San Francisco, California !

I'd like to go during the opening week, but that would be between paydays.

I've now seen all 4 Large Quicktime Trailers. My pre-EPII life is complete. Now I must see the digital finished product.
