I installed a motorola wireless usb adapter WU830G my computer sees it its working correctly, but I cant connect to the internet. any suggestions?

How do you have everything set up? If you have linksys stuff it's 192.168.1.1

Simple solution, which you've probably already done, but I gotta ask anyway, unplug your router, and plug it back in again. Sometimes is also may help to hit the reset button on the back of the router.

Check the SSID on the router, and make sure it matches your settings for the card. Have a looksie and doublecheck to see if the WEP code matches as well. If you aren't using WEP, well... you should.
Ensure that in your internet settings that the DNS server and default gateway are both the same as your router IP, should be 192.168.1.1.
Sometimes it helps to go into Hardware Mangler and disable all the other NIC's with the exception of the wireless one you're using.

Once you've done that, ping 127.0.0.1 and tell us what you get.
