Thanks for the response guys! Actually, what happened was the database was corrupted when upgrading, everytime he tried to fix it, there'd be a message stating the database was out of wack. He tried for several hours to get it rectified to no avail.

To make a long story short, lol, I think he is a regular on the vBulletin.org chat thingy now! He got what he could sorted out.

My question was in regards to the threads and saving them, but I have no idea how the database works and it couldn't be done.

Luckily the site was pretty new so not alot was lost.
